Bydureon is an injection with the drug Exenatide that is used to improve glycemic control in adults with (non-insulin dependent) type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Bydureon will help your body release more insulin when your blood sugar levels are high. You are already taking diabetes pills and must adhere to a specific diet and exercise plan. Because these measures do not control blood sugar levels sufficiently, it is in vain that your doctor wipes your rep. Your Doctor Bydureon as an auxiliary drug with which you can bring your blood sugar levels under control.
During Bydureon therapy you do not need to measure your blood sugar levels. However, you must be prescribed medications such as sulfonylureas, which your doctor may suggest. Your doctor may recommend that you have your blood sugar levels checked.
Bydureon is not an Insulin kit for patients whose diabetes mellitus requires insulin treatment.
