Indication:
- This medicine contains 2 active ingredients: ramipril and amlodipine. Ramipril belongs to a class of drugs known as ACE inhibitors (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors), and amlodipine belongs to a class of drugs known as calcium antagonists.
- Ramipril works
- The body’s production of substances that cause increased blood pressure is reduced.
- Your blood vessels relax and dilate.
- it is easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body.
- Amlodipine works
- Your blood vessels relax and dilate so that blood can flow through them more easily.
- This drug is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adult patients whose condition is adequately controlled with ramipril and amlodipine at the same dose as the combination drug.
Dosage:
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- Please talk to your doctor if you feel that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.
- This drug is taken once a day.
- Depending on the effect, the doctor will adjust the dose.
- The maximum dose is 1 hard capsule of ramipril 10 mg/amlodipine 10 mg once a day.
- Elderly patients
- Your doctor will start with a lower dose and adjust it more slowly as treatment progresses.
- Use in children and adolescents.
- Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended as information for this age group is not available.
