Indication:
- The drug is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug from the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
- Symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation in:
- acute inflammation of the joints (acute arthritis), including attacks of gout;
- chronic inflammation of the joints (chronic arthritis), especially in rheumatoid arthritis (chronic polyarthritis);
- Bechterew’s disease (Bechterew’s disease) and other inflammatory rheumatic diseases of the spine;
- Irritation in degenerative diseases of the joints and spine (arthrosis and spondyloarthrosis);
- inflammatory rheumatic diseases of soft tissues;
- painful swelling or inflammation after injury or surgery;
- Pain in the tumor, especially in cases of skeletal involvement or inflammatory swelling around the tumor.
- Note for use after operations:
- Its use after surgery is indicated only for patients who did not have an increased tendency to bleeding, impaired renal function, or signs of stomach and intestinal ulcers before surgery. It should be taken only after kidney function has normalized after surgery, especially after major surgery with large loss of blood and fluid.
Dosage:
- Always take this medication exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- The recommended dose is:
- Diclofenac is dosed depending on the severity of the disease. The recommended dosage range for adults is 50 to 150 mg of diclofenac sodium per day.
- The recommended dosage range for adults is 1 to a maximum of 2 hard capsules per day, depending on the severity of the disease.
- Unless otherwise indicated, adults may take 1 hard capsule twice daily. The daily dose is divided into 2 separate doses (for example, morning and evening).
- In milder cases and with long-term therapy, 1 hard capsule per day is often sufficient.
